Thought for the day: Why are we picking on WalMart?
The way I see it, WalMart is a big store system that raises our standard of living. The real proof is not that however, but is the fact that when I go in one of their stores, I see "happy" employees! Now they may have me fooled, but I see happy employees at work in a job they are happy to have. People line up to get the jobs when the WalMart opens a new store. If there is pain and suffering in the employment, I don't see it at all.
You know, our great country was founded on the "Capitalist" idea that we can work hard and get ahead by competition that is fair. I think this competition is fair. But if its not fair, then that is what our legislature is for: To make rules and laws to regulate these things in the interest of what is best for everyone.
I for one don't believe that most of the citizens in our great country of USA cares about this subject and it should be left as it is. I go into the WalMart because I know I can find what I want quickly and cheaply.

Thought for the day: Why are we not fixing our energy problem with Solar Power?
The government could set a priority to replace 20% of our petroleum demand with Solar Power over the next 10 years. A goal that is easily achieved for less money than spent in Iraq.
We are the greatest nation in the world and could easily accomplish this and save all that oil and also greatly reduce the demand on oil thus greatly reducing the cost of oil. We'd have the oil cartel shooting at each other trying to out produce each other and get the money which would be a lot less for the oil!
We should not be surprised about this problem since we put a Texas Oil Man in the whitehouse.
Think about it!
Talk to your congressman!
